iPhone Recordings Clicking

Doing rehersals for a play so recorded a number of things on the iphone which I now need to transfer to a cd so we can all have one. Sound is OK when listening to the iphone. I have tried to take the recordings off on to my desk top but each time I do there is an annoying clicking sound on the track alonside the speech. Can't work out what I'm doing wrong.

there is a similar problem with the ipod touch 4 with clicking when recording a video, the solution is to turn off wifi when recording, so I would suggest that as a starting point.0
