advice on housing

This may sound complicated, but please bare with me.

I split from my husband almost 1year ago and moved into a council house. I received full housing benefit and income support.

We have now overcome our diffences and would like to live together again, would he be able to move into my council house? or would I have to rent privately? I would like to stay. Just really wanted to know who I need to inform to stop the benefits etc.

Obviously he would take over paying the rent and all my benefits would stop.

Thanks if anyone can help with these querys

Living in a council house and receiving benefits to pay the rent are two totally separate things. There's no reason I know why you can't all live together as a family again.
    Congratulations!
