a good day to list items is a thursday - put it on for 10 days - that way you get two weekends.

time of day is important to, obviously early in the morning isn't good to finish, late afternoon and evenings i always find best

  • completed sales - If you do an advanced search you can tick a box that allows you to search completed items.
I have only been selling for a while. i started off UK only, but my latest listings are a bit more of a long shot, so I've opened it to Europe to get more bids.

Yes, selling to other countries does help. I too started off selling just to U.K. only but I have found it worthwhile selling worldwide its mainly the Americans I've found that tend to buy though. Don't forget to ask for a customs form at your post office to attach to your parcel though!

If you are sending a package to a destination outside the European Union, you will probably need to add a customs label to the item.

For items with a value up to and including £270, you must attach a completed and signed CN22 label as near as possible to the top left hand corner on the front of the item, without obscuring the address.
For items with a value over £270, you must attach the top part of the CN22 and a CN23 form in a plastic wallet (SP126).

They are easy to fill in and if you ask at the post office they will give you a few to take home for future sales
