Plusnet

Right here goes, I've recently cancelled my Plusnet contract as we were moving houses! I paid the additional cessasion charge of £25 to get it disconnected, so I'm told it's cancelled! They then charge me £9.99 & took that money off the debit card I gave them when paying for the cessasion charge I phoned up annoyed & they apologised & refunded me my £9.99 back & promise it won't happen again. I then check my bank statement & found they've took another £9.99 that we haven't authorised!

I'm absolutely fuming they've no right & as it's an unauthorised transaction it should be illegal! What if we incurred additional overdraft charge from the bank?!

How would you handle this I'm very tempted to take this matter further & get the police involved!

  • Get onto the CEO and give him a Boll*****g. Also go onto thinkbroadband and post your dissatisfaction there. They have reps who post and normally can get things done. Hardly worth bothering police, I expect they will say its a civil matter.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
