Cant get Channel 5 on Sky

Ca anybody help. A message keeps coming up when I try to get channel five on sky. I can get every other but this one. Thank You.

What does the message say?

It says "Channel unavailable, press back up to return".

You tried switching the box on and off (I'm assuming it's channel 105 you are trying)

do you have a paid subscription to sky..or a valid freesat from sky card? without either i think ch5 isn't available

I have tried switching the box off and am fully subscibed to sky not freesat. Thanks Again.

Switched off/on at the mains?

If still no joy then try taking out the viewing card and reinserting.

Failing that, phone sky

A call to Sky should sort it, it sounds as if your card is playing up, try removing and re-inserting it. If all else fails you can install Channel 5 as an extra channel:
Press services, system set up, add channels.
Enter 10773 with number keys, then H, 22, 5/6 using blue arrows,
then “find channels” and select. Highlight “FIVE” and press the yellow button.

To view Channel 5 press services, other channels, select.
Channel 5 will not appear on the program guide or on your favourite channels.

Just leave Sky and go to Virginmedia !!

Much superior....after all, they don't divulge anything to ACS Law unlike profit-making SKY !!

I have the same problem with channel 4. Tried everything, no joy. I'll try the workaround mentioned above, who knows. With me, it's all the channel 4 permutations, more4, +1 hour, film 4 etc. Wierd.
