hi i have a dell desktop PC that has the hidden partition with all the drivers and such on it
i would like to do a windows xp repair
so do i just put a xp disc in and follow the instructions for repair
if so would this interfere with the hidden partition and any of my settings and folders

Are you wanting to reinstall everything back to how the pc was at purchase or just rectify something ? Have you tried doing a system restore ?0

just rectify something
i did try systen restore but no good0 -
CTRL F11 on boot up accesses the restore partition on new ones, but you will lose all your files etc as it restore to "as factory" stateEx forum ambassador
