... change all washing powders and liquids to non bio types. Biologicals are the worst for skin for clothing, bedding towels etc. It will take a while before you manage to get through all your laundry.
For soothing cream try
Forever Living Bee Propolis cream. Not expensive and a little goes a long way. There is sure to be a rep near you, or go to a health food type shop, or buy online.

Quite a few years ago I saw a TV programme where David Bellamy the botanist was talking about natural remedies and one of them was for eczema. He recommended that you take a handfull of porridge oats and put them in a muslin bag or old pair of tights and tie it around the hot water tap when filling your bath, so that the water runs through it. The water comes out quite cloudy so don't let that put you off because it really works.
My cousin's baby son suffered really badly with eczema so I passed this tip on. He started using it to bath him and it worked. He continued using it and hasn't had any problems since. He's now grown up.0 -

I was told by my son's dermatologist to use Ecover or Surcare liquid or powder, but not to use any fabric conditioner - not even the Surcare or Ecover kind. I bought a washing machine that has an allergy setting and his washing gets 4 rinses instead of the normal 2. They also get steamed in the washer.0
