jsa overpayment appeal

ive got a question i need help with

i was claiming jobseekers from december 2009 until april 2010

i signed off on the 16th april 2010 due to finding a full time job
what i started on 23rd april.

i got a letter a little while back saying i was overpayed during the dates or 23th april until 29th april. (£89)

i recieved no payment in that time as i have checked bank statements etc.
Ive sent in a appeal form and sent em a copy of my work contract and bank statement stated i signed off on the 16th april aswell.

my questions are
do they right back to say there recieved my appeal?
(handed it into the jobcentre today)

how long does it take to go through?
should i ring them about to confirm there got it because i received a letter threatening court action if i dont pay up before the 19th november 2010.

any help would be brilliant
