Have been awarded low rate care allowance at (£16.50) at first application for dla. Have asked for reconsideration . Dont think my GP has helped me at at all . Can I ask for a copy of what my GP has told the dla ? before i tackle GP . After all it is information about myself. Fos

Yes before you can really produce a good appeal submission you need to see the medical evidence on which the decision was based and a written statement of reasons for the actual decision. You can ask the DWP to provide you with the paper they used to make the decision and that should include what you GP said.0
