Taking kids to Eurodisney - Need passports?

May sound a daft question, but really dont know the answer...
My partner has 2 kids... wants to take them to Eurodisney...
She has a passport, but the kids dont.....
Would she have to spend over £100 on getting them passports to goto Eurodisney ??

    oh crap, i thought they could travel on there mothers passport cos it was within the EU !
    oh well, there goes the Disney idea :(

  • children can't be put on their parent's passports anymore anyway, this changed a fair few years ago.

    Agree, quoting from Passport Office - "Before 5 October 1998 babies and children could be included on a parent or guardian's passport.", so over 12 years since it changed.

    I used to have my little sister included on my passport under 'Children/Enfants'. I remember it raising a few eyebrows at border crossings when I was 18 and, apparently, had a 7 year old daughter.

    Although you couldn't add children after that date, if they were already included on a passport they could still travel, certainly to Europe, until the passport expired or the child reached 16, so only a couple of years since it finally stopped.
