IA, Ste did get his dream TV so why shouldn't you!!!! get your dream Bass!!:rotfl:

Because they've got a drop in income coming, the driving lessons + retake to find, several outstanding debts increasing at 27% and sold the original bass for £80 so buying a new one for £150 means the whole ebay thing will have actually increased the debt by £70...

There's around £2000 on credit cards at 25% if the £150 goes on overpayments now, it'll mean she can have a bass in the future and not worry about min. repayments etc, out of money the bank will otherwise get.

Sorry to be harsh but just my opinion.

Point taken :( Will have to tell Ste to get me something else for my birthday!

Ah well. like I said, a girl can dream. Plus the band haven't got back in touch yet so likelyhood is I won't need one anyway.

Have had a lovely day today. Firstly K slept right through til 8, and then an old friend called me and we took the girls and my friend's baby down to our local park. We then came back to our house and just sat chatting about everything for ages while the kids trashed the place (My friend's sister was babysitting a 3 yr old little boy and he and Ashli were getting on really well playing together and sharing all Ash's toys.). Had a great time at the park and just catching up with my friend who I haven't seen properly in ages and it was so nice to see her especially as she's now got a 5 month old baby girl as well. It's been so nice to have a friend round and I can't remember the last time I spent the day with a friend and actually had some adult conversation. It was brill because we'd been friends for years but just drifted apart but have so much in common. Hopefully this'll be the restarting of the close friendship we used to have.

What a lovely day it's turned out to be. :)

I'm so glad you had a nice day. The more happiness you can find, the quicker the PND passes I think. I found that when I get married some friendships drifted a bit, but then were sort of rekindled when babies came along (particularly if you have kids of around the same age). One of my best friends is due 6 weeks after me, and she only lives across the road, so I'm hoping for an idyllic summer of long summer days in the garden with a bottle of rose, watching the babies playing together! But knowing my luck, it will probably rain all summer and the babies will scream at the sight of each other lol.

I really want to be in a band *sob**sniffle**sob* lol. Still haven't heard anything and to be honest I'm not sure what's going to happen with it as they were saying really positive things while I was there but apparently had someone else to audition so who knows. I know I can be really good once I get back playing regularly and I hope they can see the potential! The annoying thing is that if they do want me I'll have to buy a bass as the one they had there kept going out of tune. They said to text them in a couple of days and it's been a couple of days but I'm scared to text them in case it's bad news.. how sad is that!!!! Argh!

Kaitlyn decided to get up at 5.20 this morning so so much for her sleeping through. lol. Doesn't matter though she'll get there eventually. I got up with her instead of Steve as I went to bed earlier, plus I find it easier to get up than Ste especially if I've had some sleep beforehand whereas Ste isn't great at getting up. Who can blame him though he does work full time!

Tomorrow is payday and we'll finally see the extent of Ste's pay. I'm not nervous.. we've managed to save £200 to make up for any deficit and anything extra can go straight back into debt savings. This month is paying off Dotty p's month so fingers crossed for no more suprises!
