God I'm getting all emotional now... keep thinking about everything that's gone right for us the past week or so and I'm just overwhelmed.. let me try and write it all down..

    New sofa paid for outright
Old sofa taken away by local furniture exchange charity
Joined a band and made a new friend in the process
Got an extra tax credits payment of £108 we weren't expecting
Made £55 clear profit from ebay
Had a wonderfully kind Toto offer us her drum kit so we didn't have to spend money on buying one (which to be honest we can't really afford)
Learnt I've got £260 coming from a pension my mum had that we didn't know about
Our gas and electric DD is being cut to £55 a month
I saw K roll over for the first time
    Ste's enjoying his job
    EVERYONE'S HAPPY :D

I can't think of any more!
I missed the post where you said this, but ever since you posted about your mums pension, I had a feeling that you would get some money from it. Really pleased to hear all your good news. :T

Damn straight!! I was going to have beer tonight to celebrate but considering the amount of driving I'll be doing tomorrow I don't think it's such a good idea! lol :D

  • What a cracking day IA, how fabulous! I'm loving the slightly murderous "get that camera out of my face NOW" look on K too :D

Toto, you are a legend! You've really put a smile on my face after a long and cruddy day at work (the novelty of not being a student has well and truly worn off already LOL) and you restore my faith in MSE and there being good people - but what goes around comes around so your karma levels must be through the roof!

Snaggles - thank you for the congrats!

You could use it for Blackpool as it's less than 2 months away and would mean you wouldn't be stressing about finding the money and could actually have a lovely time away?
