Lenny, I even considered doing the ironing....

In my defence, I'm not completely recovered from the whole 'pushing a baby out of my wazoo' experience yet lol! I don't even know how long you're supposed to wait before you can resume 'normal activities'. ;)

IA, sorry about the kitchen roll btw - I didn't have any bubble wrap :o

I was told 6 weeks each time.... waited 3 with Ashli and 2 with K!!! Asking for trouble? I think so! lol!

The problem is, they keep cutting me open and then stitching me back up....it's a bit offputting! I think they said it could take up to 6 weeks for the stitches to fully dissolve, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Snaggles - my god again! Cutting you open again??!!! Mind you, if it sorts it I hope it's worked - would have liked a bit of restitching before I had the second child (which sorted it all :) )

Oh no, sorry, I didn't mean they'd cut me open again - just that I'm still recovering from the birth. Although the midwife did point out that the original midwife who delivered ds had made a complete !!!!-up of things, and I could consider 'corrective surgery' at a later date if I was unhappy with it (she couldn't correct it herself, although did improve it quite a lot).

Edit - The 'filtered' word wasn't as rude as it looks lol!

    :)

I can relate to the !!!! up with the first one! I found the second one much better - first was consultant second was midwife - go figure!

Hope you heal quickly. I found dead sea salts in the bath helped me to recover - might work?

    Sorry to hijack IA!

You know what? It's so stupid but paying £554 off citi feels empty. Partly because I know we COULD'VE paid off barclaycard in full if we'd stayed on track and partly because Ste and I bickered about it before doing it... apparently I was nagging at him to pay it off which made him not want to do it. :(
It's so daft both out debts are both under 1k and I should be thrilled but why do I feel really deflated????

Probably because you're focussing on what you haven't achieved instead of what you HAVE achieved. And because you're dwelling on bickering with Ste, and on his reaction. And also because clearing a lump sum isn't an immediate high, like clearing something in full (and seeing a 0 balance) is. But it's still a great result for the month, and brings you so much closer to being debt free, so try and feel proud of it, even though it's not exactly what you wanted.
