occasionally whe i've been desperate for anti depressants the chemist gives me some either free, or takes it out of my next prescription. last time i went to the doctor's for a repeat prescription he put three month's worth on one prescription so i'm saving £4.00 a month now!!0

I'm in the process of making bread! Oooooooooh! lol It's currently in the top oven with the bottom oven on (The warm place) and I've got to check it at 10.15 to see if it's doubled in size before baking it... ooooh how exciting!

ooh the bread sounds lovely
I would second what everyone's said about the anti-d's I had to ring up for another app but then asked for a repeat prescription due to the time delay - they did but only 2 weeks worth, but better than going without etc. Hope you get through tomorrow.
The dora cakes look scrummy!

Hi IA, please don't bury your head in the sand about the employment situation. It is unlawful to make someone redundant purely because they are on maternity leave, or pregnant. Try calling 08457474747 - ACAS (Advisory and Conciliation Services) advice line - they will help.
I am guessing there wasn't a trade union at your place of work. Even so, you could try looking at some of the bigger unions' websites, GMB, Unison are both active in the nursery sector. (And do join a trade union in your next job if you can, it is money well spent)
Is / was it a council run nursery, or private?? Either way I am sure it would have had to be licensed by the council or other local authority who would not want to hear about bad employment practices. So you could tell them....
Honestly if your former boss is in bad straits then she has more worries than your redundancy pay, so add your name to her list of debts. But she does have to pay your redundancy pay - you do come quite high up the priority list of creditors.
Please do do as others say, and get this sorted, there could be another month's pay in this for you... how far would that go against b'card or citi?
Very best wishes.0 -

Hi..lurker peeping out again.
IA, well done!!!
Have spent the last ten minutes or so trying to post a message but to no avail!!!! (Prob due to the fact that I'm not used to these "live" chat thingies!)
I was going to say how had your bread turned out, and hoped you'd been successful!!
The photo tells it all
