  • Hi Jenagain
That is a lovely supportive post. Just wanted to wish you well with your own debt free journey. It can be done and you will feel so much better without the pressure of debt.
Sounds like you have just had your lightbulb moment, hope you succeed.

Good luck with the new arrival too.:T

  • Kaitlyn's due tomorrow!!!!

Yeeeees I'm still pregnant. *sigh* lol.
Had a lovely night last night and it was so refreshing to go out and do something different. Got back about 11.45 but we sat up and chatted for a bit before he went on his 360 (eventually falling asleep on the sofa and me having to wake him up at 5am!!) and I went to sleep around 2. Feel better for having a night out so feeling happier today. Thanks everyone for the supportive messages yesterday, they really meant a lot to me. Was a very emotional day and I ended up doing more than my fair share of crying but todays another day and tomorrow it Kaitlyn's due date! eeeek!

No signs symptoms or twinges to report unfortunately though. Starting to wonder if there's actually anyone in there! lol! Hopefully she won't take too much longer! We think that Ashli's twigged that there's a baby in mummy's tummy because Ste asked her where the baby was and she rubbed my belly and said 'ahhhh'. Can't wait to see her face when she sees mummy minus huuuuuge belly and a new baby sister in tow! lol!

Oh by the way we've found out that Ste gets paid this wednesday instead of the 31st so we're considering paying off mothercare sooner and then letting the tax credits and child benefit top us back up. Will see what happens when we get his wages. Would probably be easier TBH so we'll probably pay it off weds. Woohoo! So long mothercare! :)

Jenagain - Thanks for the lovely message. I'm so glad that you've found my diary useful and managed to have your own lightbulb moment and I want to wish you all the best of luck. It feels loads easier to deal with when you've sat down and worked it all out doesn't it! Good luck with the baby as well! Funnily enough it was partly Kaitlyn that inspired us to sort out our debts as well because we wanted to be finanacially secure for her and not struggling like we were. When are you due? If you set up your own debt diary let me know so I can read it!!! :)

    Afternoon IA and bump.

I think that's a good idea about paying off Mothercare early, at least then you know it's done. :T

How long do they keep you in hospital when it's your second. I know round here most mums are out same day.

According to my midwife if there's no problems then they turf you out after a few hours! lol! Not that I'm complaining as there's proper tv and my bed at home! lol! Spent 2 days in hospital with Ashli and hated every minute of it!

Hi IA, I've been trying to catch up on your debt diary when I can. I think it is a fab idea to pay off MC asap, you are doing incredibly well with you debt repaying. I'm working solid for the next 4 days so I'll log on every evening and catch up with your news/frustrations!! Hopefully not long to go now and I promise to resist asking 'have you had it yet!' on here.

Anyhow we're all sending love and best wishes, catch up on your rest as much as possible.
    hugs

    Hi Sarah,

I'll be starting a debt diary in March as we are off to Barcelona in Feb (Christmas present from my parents :D ) and any 'spare' money we have is spending money!!

I'm due in August I think, waiting on a scan to confirm as I have no idea when we conceived as we were very careful  weird!!

Come on Kaitlyn, Mummy's had enough lol!

  • 22nd January 2007 - 0 days left!

Woooooooo K-Day is finally here! But do you think there's any sign of her coming out? Hell no! Have already had MIL calling up asking me if I had any signs! Argh!! I think everyone thinks that todays the day and baby's run to schedules and 'due' dates.. if only!

Anyway this morning Ste and I actually managed a bit of 'DIY' baby inducing before he went to work and I'm going to have a 'brisk' (lol ambitious I know) walk down the village to get some bread and milk to hopefully get things moving. Felt very periody last night but it eased once I had a bath (as usual) so hopefully something's going on down there!

Sending labours vibes to all those who want them (and hoping someone's got some spare for me!!!) So much for giving her that notice of eviction!! But then again I was sure I saw 2 fingers sticking out the side of my belly as soon as I gave it to her!

COME ON KAITLYN YOU'RE OFFICIALLY COOKED NOW! GET A MOVE ON! I KNOW IT'S NICE AND SNUG IN THERE BUT MUMMY WANTA HER BODY AND SANITY BACK!
