ARGH K woke up at 5 am AGAIN last night. What is so different this week compared to last??? *sigh*
Ste's putting £80 in the debt account today and putting £20 petrol in the car with the money we got for the xbox yesterday. I just thought the way Ste wants to be driving everywhere all the time is seriously going to eat into our normal money so we'd use a bit of that to keep him happy. lol. For longer than I can remember his mate who he works with has been picking him up and dropping him off every day that he's been in and not asked for any money or anything so they're planning on doing a one week on one week off kind of thing where one week it'll be normal with his mate picking him up etc and then the next week his mate will drive to ours and Ste will drive them in the rest of the way. Our house is literally half way between his mates house and their work so it'll be a bit fairer as his mate has got money troubles too and he's not long been made bankrupt. Also when Ste's in and he isn't he's going to lend him his parking pass to save on parking. Will obviously cost us more in petrol but we're saving on driving lessons anyway plus it isn't fair that his mate has never had any money towards petrol or anything. We'll see how it goes anyway.
The £80 is going to really help the dotty p's fund too
There's £180.04 in there at the moment.
£64.44 currently in banking limbo as it's transferring over (should clear tomorrow)
£80 from the xbox :T
£64.44 going in on weds
£120.80 going in on tues
= £509.72 - dotty p's (£462.46) = £47.26 extra + £24 in the £2 tin
What I did forget though is that next month is our friends' wedding and Ste's best man, meaning he's organising the stag do and I'm invited to the hen do.... :undecided so the extra money will have to go towards that. Oh well. At least dotty p's will be paid off even with the disaster of the fridge! :T
Speaking of the fridge.. since we had to buy the new one I've seen about 3 offered on freecycle :mad:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi IA,
Sorry K keeps waking at 5.... my little angel woke up 3 times in the nite!! Grrr
Eek at seeing the fridges on freecycle, but at least you have a guarantee with yours.
I've added you too to MSN, not that I'm often on.

Hi IA,
Hopefully not having the driving lessons will make a huge difference each month to your outgoings - it was a year of driving lessons that really threw me into the debt-pit that I'm in, cos once I started them I just felt I had to keep going, even though it was costing me £100 a month (and that started going on the CC!)
Since I've passed it's been so wonderful, cos I've actually worked out that it's cheaper for me to run a car than what I was spending on transport as it's meant I could take on extra work, and the mileage from work pays for all my fuel every month.
Enjoy the stag & hen nights next month though - I bet you haven't had a big night out in ages!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Can you get Ste a job on an oil rig, or an isolated agricultural site, Dubai? Somewhere without roads where there's nowhere to buy stuff with plugs or computer gamesI bet he revs and races pushing the petrol consumption up - just superglue your Baby on Board label on there and maybe something like a "Jesus is your friend" bumper sticker, add in a National trust one and a Radio 2 or 3 one as well - that'll keep him in check.
