Boots Advantage Card 1200 Extra Points

I attended a Boots Advantage Card evening last night under the impression that would receive a "bonus" 1200 points (as the Boots advertisements suggest) when I spent over £50. This, however, is not the case. Yes you do receive 1200 points when you spend £50 but 200 of these points are the basic ones that you would receive for spending £50 on a normal day (4 points per whole £1 spent) so in actual fact you are only receiving an additional 1000. I contacted Boots Advantage card this morning and was told that this was made clear in the details of the offer. I said that I felt the offer advertisements were misleading And that this was not made clear to Advantage Card users. I was informed that this information should be in the small print.

If it didn't actually say extra points then technically I suppose they have done nothing wrong, but yes, they could have been more transparent.0

It was still a good offer though.0
