have the deeds to my Victorian house, all the houses in my row were owned by the same landlord nad rented out to miners families. I plan to pass the paperwork onto the new owners when I sell, hopefully they will treasure them as well.

  • Interesting replies, mine is a 1960's home, not much history but I would have loved to have seen who lived here previously - having lived in 2 new builds before we never had that luxury !!

I love looking at floor and location plans etc and it seems some of you share my interest.

    Thank you

  • Rather than start another thread i thought I'd hijack this one.

We have received the deeds for our new house ( and they are v interesting too!).

This is the first time I've ever had them. I assumed the solicitor or mortgage people would keep them.

So the question is, where is best to store them now?

    Thanks
