. I like to call it 'optimism'.
Nevertheless, a massive WELL DONE on getting debt free. That really is some achievement. You've done brilliantly. No better than brilliantly. In fact, better than whatever is better than brilliant. With a cherry and chocolate sprinkles on top.

I feel happy and emotional for you as do many many others on this board and the fact that 'strangers' are so pleased and happy for you just displays the very best in human nature and spirit and this is for me what life is all about.
Take care xx
Exactly that. Many Congratulations I'm so happy for you, what a wonderful end to the year! Wishing you a fantastic Christmas, enjoy your new home and debt freedom and all the peace that they bring - life really *does* begin at 40 doesn't it?!xxxxxx

WELL DONE HYPNO!!!!! I remember when you arrived on the Boards, very shortly after me, bustling about reading every thread and doing 100 debt free things every day. Your determination and energy - and good humour - has been in evidence ever since. I'm so happy for you and feel sure the next part of your life is going to be lots of fun.
But I'm a tiny bit frustrated because despite scrolling back and back, I can't find your 'I'm debt free' post. Could someone tell me the page number? Thanks!Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Congratulations! Happy new house, happy new life, and a happy new shiny clean balance sheet! Have a good Christmas, even if you have to resort to eating sprouts out of the tin with a spoon for your Christmas dinner. One life - your life - live it!0
