Tribunal Cancelled!!!

Hey,
so i've spent the last 3 weeks gearing up for Monday 15th Nov for my Tribunal, my carer has been walking me through what will happen on the day, how we'll get there, what bus we will use, how long it takes etc, and then this morning i got a letter off the Tribunal services saying that a request had been made to cancel my tribunal and a new date would be allocated at some point.
I have to admit i don't understand why they've done this, when my carer rang the number they couldn't give an answer and said to ring back next week, but surely if they're going to cancel 3 working days before the actual Tribunal they should say why, shouldn't they?
Sorry if it sounds like i'm whining, i don't cope well with changes and esp not when i don't know why the change occurred.
Does this happen often? Its been nine months since the ATOS medical and its just adding to my agitation the longer it drags on. Will they give me a new date within days or weeks of the cancelled one or will it be even more months?
