Windows movie maker

Hi
Hope someone can help me.
I am using MOviemaker to put together a DVD of photos of my daughter for her 18th Birthday. I am using photos from being a baby to now.
When I try to import music (as a mp3) it comes up with an error message:
'could not be imported. Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.'

Can anyone help me pls?
Thanks

WMM can be a bit flakey, what version are you using and what operating system?

How much memory RAM have you got and is their plenty of space on your hard disk?
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I use MM a lot, do you import the MP3 first or after the photos, and are the photos mpg, if they are bmp (Bitmap) they are usually very big and use more space, you need to convert them to mpg.

I normally import the music first then you can see how long it is on the bar, then import the pictures, that way you can adjust them to fit the music, I add video transitions to some for a nice effect between pictures.
