Where do you hide the presents??
Comments

I hide mine in suitcases as the kids wouldn't even dream of looking in them.
When I was younger I went searching round the house and found a wonder woman in the airing cupboard, it was made up0 -
When I was a child I not only searched everywhere for pressies I got caught red-handed by my Mum !!!!
Oh the embarassment on Xmas morning when I had to open the very same pressies I was caught with and pretend to be surprised with my Mum looking on.
I also have grown up children who admit to looking in ALL the sorts of places mentioned above so beware!!0 -
My house has 2 lofts.
My bedroom is in an extension, so it's got it's own seperate loft. It doesn't have a loft ladder, so you have to get the ladders out the garage which are hanging from hooks on the ceiling. The children can't reach the ladders, let alone carry them upstairs and get into the loft, so they've got no chance of finding them!
All the presents go up there, then we have climb up and get them all out on Christmas Eve once the children are asleep. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Mainly in the loft or the top of the built in wardrobe ( I can't even reach on a chair let alone kids). I have got some things sealed in an amazon box just sitting in the corner though - it's all taped up and got someone elses address on, just told the kids I was waiting to send some bits off on ebay - they won't bother looking.
We always wrap the pressies the weekend before christmas when my parents have DD's for the day, we stick on a christmas cd, open a bottle of wine and get stuck in, they then all get stored in sacks in the loft until the last minute, then put in the car as our loft opens between their bedrooms, much easier to haul them out the car and round the back of the house."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. I always went searching for my presents and finding them always ruined xmas morning - kids are crap with temptation. My mum ended up storing them at my uncles' house. We never had the whole 'presents around the tree' thing before the actual day - those sellotaped corners simply proved too tempting...0

In the shops, nice and safe there...0

I buy the main ones in November, and store them at the kids' Gran's house.
Smaller items are kept on a big box in my bedrom.
As a child...who all went hunting around their house? :rotfl:0 -

I let my mother keep the presents for my SO last year, unfortunately she couldn't find them come Christmas because she'd hidden them away "safely"
It's my own fault, obviously I'd forgotten every year having a mildly disappointing Christmas and then a fantastic February when she was clearing out and found the rest of my Christmas presents. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.
