  • i have 11 months on my IVA.
I have a property with a bit of equity (not much).
The thing is, I don't think they know about this property... Will they find out?

Not trying to criticise, but the only reason we enter into IVAs is that we cannot afford to pay back our creditors the amount of money we have spent (along with the interest payments we agreed to when taking out loans, credit cards).

Entering into an IVA means your creditors have agreed your in difficulty and accept that you can only pay what your IP is telling them. So from the outset you have to be honest and I'm sure they could find out about this property so the age old saying 'honesty, best policy' last thing you want is a notice of correction.

And how exactly would they find you out, I don't think they would unless you told them.
Like other posters have said we enter an IVA because we want to pay our debts back,
