I have an O2 exec pda but no sim card.
All I want it for is for internet and email use. Anyone know if I can just get a sim card for this and if I can which mobile provider is best to use cost wise.
Thanks

The Xda Exec is tri-band working on 900, 1800 and 1900 networks. It supports class 10 GPRS, WiFi and Bluetooth are both built in.
This is a PDA that supports 3G.
As with all things, you will have to make a list of things you want to do, look in your wallet/purse and google like a demon.
Good luck
Let me start you off.... http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=o2+exec+pda&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a0 -
You have 2 options
Use the WiFi function, make use of hotspots like bt openzone and the O2 one. or find the free ones where you go the most.
your other option is to get a 3G sim card as a GPRS sim will annoy the pants off you as it is so slow. If you take this route tmobile offer the we and walk which is a set fee a month for pretty much unlimited browsing. I find I use about 15MB a month just browsing the tesco misprice thread whil in tesco.
I dont know if there are any 3G pay sim cards so you may end up on a contract but it could be cheaper than paying a subsctiption to BT oppenzone. sign up, sell the phone they give you to pay for your contract.0 -
Thanks for the replies so far.
Another option I might have is to use my laptop.
Anyone know If I had the TMobile web n talk with a new contract phone (£7.50pm) would I be able to connect this to my laptop. If it`s possible, what would I need to make it work?
Thanks again.0
