Newly fangled with my iphone. Can someone explain the internet connection options to me please.
Sometimes there is a small o,or an E, or 3G or the wifi bars...!..?

The symbols are the different types of mobile signal data speeds:
Slow > Fast
"o" (2g or GPRS), "E" EDGE which is a faster version of GPRS, "3G" (also known as HSPA) and Wi-fi (self explanatory).
