Im with EDF at the moment and IM on the standard tariff as my last online v5 expired, looking at the switching sites like USWITCH etc I have noticed a new EDF online version 7 which will save me money compared to what Im on now and wil be able to get 12 bottles of wine,im wondering if you are allowed to switch between different products with the same company via a switching site or will the amount of time that it takes to do the switch through USWITCH result in me not getting a cheap tariff so quickly (AS IT CAN TAKE A COUPLE OF MONTHS TO SWITCH THUS STILL PAYING HIGHER RATE ON STANDARD TARIFF WHICH WOULD WIPE OUT ANY GAIN OF GETTING A CRATE OF WINE)when I could switch direct at EDF and get put on a cheaper tariff the same day, which way would be the best idea?

Not usually.
As long as you've entered the correct details of your current supplier/tariff, the comparison sites usually state whether or not a switch through them is possible for each alternative offering."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
