pIPES TO LOFT

Can anyone advise me on gas pipe, water pipe and electrical cable pulled from main supply under the stairs downstairs. The builder drilled three holes and put copper 25mm copper pipes on the outside wall in the shared drive. This pipes and cable running up to the loft where there is new boiler and megaflow tank and new fuse box.

The builder said he will insulate the water pipe and box up the whole two pipes and cable.

This is ok and safe. The pipe and calbe starts from 2/3 ft above ground. He used this method to stop lots of work inside the house.

There is gas pipe and water pipe with eletrical cable already as i had my old boiler in the loft but the bulder said to small pipe as it is 15mm.

Please help any comments will be helpful.

Depends what size box he is putting round them, as if it will then be classed as a duct, it will need to be ventilated and not have the electric cable in it.

If it isn't big enough to be a duct, then the cable must be at least 25mm from the gas pipe.
