HELP - Lloyds Bank Online Banking Standing Orders

Hi,
Last week I opened a Lloyds Bank Vantage Account (and 5% Monthly Saver).
I want to setup a Standing Order from this Account to my Building Society Account, but when I try to Online it says it needs a valid telephone number, there is a number however it's shows as +44 01***, now if it's using +44 then the zero shouldn't be used, I've tried to removed the Zero and also tried removing +44 leaving the Zero but it doesn't like it either way around, it keeps putting the +44 back and states invalid without the Zero.
I've phoned there customer service and they confirmed this is the problem, but could give me a solution.
Is anyone else having the same issue or have found a work around, I don't want to have to phone customer service every time I want to transfer money or pay a bill.
Thanks

If you are talking about your own contact numbers, both of mine are shown as +44 with the leading zero intact and I've never had a problem with online Standing Orders/payments - in fact I'd never even looked at the layout until your post.
The automated telephone code request on setting up new payees has always come through correctly.0 -
I tried changing my contact number a few times before I realised what was going on.
As you say the Lloyds system reverts (for the landline numbers) to a technically incorrect code, but one which works (+44 0xxxxxxxxxx). I think there is a time period, presumably to prevent fraud, for which an updated number cannot be used for automated verification of transactions such as new standing orders.
Oddly they record the correct number format for my mobile. Go figure!0 -

If there is a time period, I guess me messing around with it will keep reseting this time period.
I wonder how long this time period is? It would be nice if it stated this on there web site.0
