I have recently had my job seekers allowance stopped for six months because I was dismissed for dishonesty. Are there any other benefits I can claim? I have no other income.

You will need to claim a Hardship Payment. You will not get anything for the first two weeks of your sanction, and after that you will receive a 40% reduction (or 20% if you are classed as vulnerable) on the normal JSA rate.Gone ... or have I?0

Remember that if there is any doubt about your employers claims, u can try appealing. U will still need to claim hardship while the appeal is being looked at though.
