I'm thinking of buying an apartment in Cape Verde. Can anyone recommend a solicitor who is familiar with portugeese law and has dealt with Cape Verdean property before ?
Can anyone tell me what I can expect to pay a good solicitor / lawyer , and who can come up with a good price ?
Thanks in anticipation ..

I suggest you read this first.

Personally I'd rather purchase an apartment in Bagdad.0 -
Or for a little more depth try:

If you're still interested in the "next canary islands" - about 30yrs hence, I suspect -I came across this firm:

Or you could try the Cape Verde UK consul at:

Personally, I do suspect it may be quite a long term investment.0 -
Ever been there? Any idea what you are buying into?
I recommend at the very least you take a holiday there to check it out."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
