Yeah!!! Sounds like you had a blast! I'd love to see the pictures sometime, if you don't mind.

Is this the artist formerly known as Michael Jordan, then?

I've never heard of him, either.

    ...

    1. that there is no such name as Micheal

    and

    2. I've never heard of him, no matter what the spelling.

    Always glad to remove confusion.

I am sure my step dads birth certificate would disagree with you, but never mind. Your fantastic input has been duly noted as always.

Not strictly true, there is an Irish Author/Poet called Micheal O'Siadhail

There ARE people with this spelling of the name, actually. Years ago I used to set up endowment policies and you had to get the names spelled exactly right. I used to adjust any 'Micheal' to 'Michael' (assuming that the sales rep couldn't spell, which was usually true).

But there were occasions when I then got a letter pointing out that the name should be Micheal. Must admit it does always make me laugh, it's a bit horrible but it's obvious to me the parents just couldn't spell the name when their DS was born (apologies to any Micheals on MSE)!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I cant beleive you are all arguing over the spelling of a name and whether you know the bloke or not, cant you just be happy for Emma??

Its nice to see that someone who is a true fan won of these competitions and not someone who just goes along for "whatever they can get and sell for a profit"
