Hi Guys
:wave:
What a blessed day I had!! well I should say morning cause it didnt last the wole day and I didnt get a ticket or anything for my brotherbut I am still grateful.:T
Ok I got up really early and left home at 6am:eek: crikey havent been up that early since my babies were born, was worried about getting to London in time and traffic. Anyhow got to hotel ok at 8am done all the secuirty stuff then met the man himself :j. Had breakfast and then went onto NIKE Town where there was loads of press and other people and he spoke about his sneakers along with the guy who helps him to design them. Saw what will be the new Jordans due to be released early next yr and their plans for the Jordan line.
They have a museum there showing all Jordans to date and they had my old ones there (not actually mine but look like mine) incased in a frame which are now considered antiques and the original ones go for loads of bucks :eek: .. why oh why didnt i keep mine :rolleyes:
He is such a humble and God fearing man I was really impressed with him. There was none of this "I am a star" attitude about him, he really is a down to earth guy. And is really pleasant.
After NIKE town I got a goodie bag and he done an interviewit was all so cool.... and quite intimidating with all those people treading over you to get near to him.
Goodie bag consisted of
SNEAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::j :j
oh yeah baby i got them signed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool: :cool:
t'shirt (also signed), poster (also signed for my bro ) and other bits n bobs..which I will treasure. I was so gratefully to meet him and get what I got I didnt even think to ask for anything else.
Got some good pictures too, and some on my phone which I need to figure how to get them off..:o
So I feel very very blessed and chuffed cause I never win anything.
Thank you Mr Jordan!!!!:beer: :beer: :beer:
