Oil Fired Central Heating

I'm sure there have been threads on this topic previously, but it seems an issue that is very subject to change, so I thought I would ask the question, anyway.
I'm looking at an apartment in the next couple of days that has oil-fired central heating. It's a one-bedroom apartment. I'm not a person that requires to be baking hot all the time, but obviously I want to be comfortable. The apartment itself is potentially very cheap, so I could entertain slightly higher heating costs than average. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to run? Thanks in advance.

Hi wake_up_bomb
A 1 Bed bed apartment with self contained individual Oil Fired heating system is a very unusual animal because apart from the Boiler, there will also be an oil storage tank located somewhere outside
However there are flats with oil fired heating systems and generally they have a common hot water system fed from one big boiler located in a service room, which is fed from a large storage tank.
The bottom line is that for a self contined dwelling Oil Heating is cheaper than all Electric, but in flats where there is a management company standing between you, the cost of oil and system maintenance charges there is no knowing how high the annual bill can go, nor how they are allocated to each flat. I have Oil fired heating, but as an individual householder I phone 5 local suppliers for a price when I need an oil re-fill, and the price can vary by 3pence per litre - A management company will take the 'Easy Route' and do a deal with one supplier to re-fill when required, no matter what the price
You mention the price of this apartment as being "potentially very cheap" - The bills for the Oil Firedheating system could be the reason why.0
