This is lovely. I bought it after smelling it on someone and asking what it was. It's more expensive than the red one (which I don't like at all). I've never seen it on offer unfortunately.
Look at the reviews for it.http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Dolce_Gabbana_Light_Blue__5627811
We’ve obviously got very similar tastes jackieb as I don’t like the red one either. My friend got me Channel Coco Mademouiselle for my birthday, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful it is a nice perfume and very expensive, however if I had to choose between the two my favourite would be D & G Light Blue.0 -
It smells clean. I never usually ask a stranger what they're wearing, but I could have followed this girl around, just sniffing0

not anais anais, i dont know any young girls that wear that, its seen as old fashioned
It is (although a lovely scent), but depends on the girl. They may like something a bit retro/classic.
Stick with DKNY, be delicious or whatever, and you can't go wrong. :A0 -
What about a NEXT perfume? My daughter likes Paradise. You can get a small bottle for £6 or a large bottle for £12.
Someone is selling it here for £5 or even less if you make an offer, and postage is free : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEXT-PARADISE-EAU-TOILETTE-30ML-/180585453710?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Fragrances_Women_s_Fragrances_PP&hash=item2a0bbb588e
Her fav though is DKNY blossom which is gorgeous but costs a bomb, well for a big bottle it does.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
My niece is 18 and she loves Just Pink perfume from Next, I think its £11.00 or £12..00 for the 100ml bottle.0

I'm going to go to Debenhams or somewhere and try these out.
Hi anhf,
I just read this post Debenhams sale this w'end...:D
Debenhams 25% off - Strong Rumour
Online and in store discounts
We've heard strong rumours from our forumites that Debenhams will be having a 'Christmas Spectacular' event with 25% off most departments. Although it's not been confirmed, it's supposedly starting in store on Sat 13 Nov and online from Sun 14 Nov.
Expect 25% off women's, men's and children's wear as well as homeware and accessories. As per usual with these event it'll probably be 10% off beauty and fragrance and certain concessions will be excluded.
Debenhams have not yet confirmed details, but we'll update them all here as soon as it does.0 -
Hi anhf, I've just realised I have Curious rather than Fantasy :wall: That's what I get for discarding my perfume packaging! I've just looked up Fantasy and there's a good review here:
http://www.nstperfume.com/2005/10/21/britney-spears-fantasy-perfume-review/
It's certainly a lovely bottle- perfect if she is a girly 19 year old. I really like the sound of to be honest, quite hoping someone surprises me with it now! I'm not particularly fussed about perfume- as long as it smells nice on me, isn't too oppressive and comes in a pretty bottle I like it- I'm a sucker for attractive bottles
Like fuzzybear01 says I ordinarily would not go for a celebrity perfume, but some of them are really nice scents, and most of them don't have the celebrity name on the bottle. I'd be happy as long as it wasn't a celebrity I hate!
I also like Glow by Jennifer Lopez, another one I got as a gift. It's a classy bottle, lovely scent and I always get people telling me I smell nice when I wear it. I'd read a bunch of celebrity scent reviews in a magazine previous and it had got very good reviews. It's probably a bit more of a grown up scent though.
My mum started getting me the So...? scents when I was younger and I quite like those- my favourite perfume is probably So... Sinful which smells chocolatey. Must admit I can't wear them if I have a head ache though as they're too strong smelling- I never need to reapply it that's for sure!0 -
I also like Hollister So Cal - my 14yo daughter wants it, but it's not cheap though.0

My daughter loves Alien and everyone absolutely loves it on her. If they haven't seen her for a while they say they've missed her smell!:rotfl:However her brother recently brought her a huge bottle of Lola by Marc Jacobs back from New York and she has converted to that for a while. The bottle is absolutely beautiful too. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Another vote for DNKY perfumes here, my daughter is 17 and it's her favourite, she shops around online and usual finds 30ml bottles for well under £20.
Edit her last bottle was from here and we were very impressed with both the price (she got the 30ml one for £19 but it's gone up a bit now) and how quickly it arrived0
