Britney spears is a good choice, or dkny woman is really nice and fresh and I'm yet to find anyone that doesn't like it although not as cheap as britney spears but you could you the mega shop bot to find a good deal0

I second DKNY. Not only is it a nice gentle scent but quite a "young" brand. Dolce & Gabanna light blue is very popular, again light and fresh but may be a few of her friends already have it.
I would probably go for something "classic" like Chanel-but these tend to be more expensive & love or hate or a new fragrance similar to something she already wears or you think she would like.
i.e DKNY Delicious Candy Apple
Gwen Stefani Harajuku lovers (Baby - a vanilla floral)
Alternatively you could get a sample of Fantasy (I'm not a celebrity scent fan but I'm just a bit of a snob!) from a department store and wear it around her to see if she comments!
I'd love a gift of any perfume (anyone? anyone? no?) but fragrance is quite personal so one persons Estee Lauder Pleasures (mmm!) is another one's Christian Dior Poison (bleugh!)"I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -
Lacoste Pink!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
I'm going to go to Debenhams or somewhere and try these out.Debt free

Hi anhf
Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana is a lovely light fragrance. I got it last year and loads of my friends have bought it after having a test of mine.
This is lovely. I bought it after smelling it on someone and asking what it was. It's more expensive than the red one (which I don't like at all). I've never seen it on offer unfortunately.
Look at the reviews for it.http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Dolce_Gabbana_Light_Blue__5627811
