Advent calendar - computer version how can I achieve this?

I would like to create an christmas advent calendar for friends and family that they can view on their computers. I have very little programming knowledge can anyone point me in the direction of how I could achieve this?
I would like to have a main picture which would have all the different dates on, so that when they click on the date it goes to a link where I could show maybe a photo with some text or just text. If they click on a date too early it will give them a message so they can't cheat. I have some basic web page knowledge but not complexed coding.

Have a play with http://www.photoadvent.com/index.html to see if it does what you want. It costs $20 (about £12) for the full version and would certainly be quicker than writing your own.
