Unwanted phone calls

Hi

I recently took out new house insurance and used some comparison sites. Ironically I found a better deal direct.

Now I am being bombarded with calls, some from this number: 02079807360 they said something about claiming back credit card fees. I told them i wasn't interested and they've already tried calling again.

I googled this number and many people are saying that all the price comparison sites give you the option for them not to pass on your contact details but then do anyway and this is where these people have got most of their numbers from.

Has anyone else found this? I'm fuming as I'm ex -directory for a reason. I shan't be using these sites again that's for sure!

I'm being bombarded with calls from 01422249611, they are from Swinton insurance company, i answered one a month ago, and the guy tried to flog me some life insurance.

Thankfully i have caller display so i just ignore them now, but i've been getting 3 calls a day for the last month.
