Banking Survey...

If it is ok with this board, I was hoping that I could ask for some help from its members.
I am a college student working on a marketing project and am conducting marketing research on the banking habits of finacial savvy individuals. I have created and posted a survey at https://www.iworkers.com which is to aid me on this project. If any of you have an extra five minutes to spare and could take this survey, it would be a great help to me and my group members.
Again, the survey is atwww.iworkers.com
Thank you for your time.

I've been asked, and rightfully so, to clearify and explain this post a bit more due to its sensitive nature.
This survey is being conducted by Indiana University STUDENTS (not university) for a Marketing and Advertising class project. The project is to design a marketing and advertising strategy for a bank. This project will also be submitted to the DMEF (Direct Marketing Educational Foundation) US nationwide collegiate competition.
As for the surveys, they are completely anonymous and when submitting our research data to our professor and competition all data collected will be grouped together. The online form stores all data individually in a SQL database and emails are not linked in anyway to the submitted answers. We ONLY ask for email address to avoid multiple submissions and will never give this out to ANYONE. Once the survey is completed, all email address will be removed from our database. Again, these email addresses are part of a separate database and are not linked to the survey. All answers are anonymous.
Our goal of this survey is to find out what people really want in Savings Accounts and how they perceive other types of accounts. When you take the survey, you will see that there are no questions that will allow us to know who took the survey. The survey itself will ask for a confirmation before submitting the answers at the end, which if anyone does feel uncomfortable about the survey they can always choose to 'clear and exit' which void that individuals survey and no answers will then be recorded.
Unfortunately with our time constraints, this survey will close at the end of the week. So if anyone is willing to help, I ask that they can complete the survey before Thursday if at all possible. It will only take around five minutes to complete, longer if that individual wishes to be thorough with his or her answers.
Again, I thank you and understand the concern for this post and hope that this clears things up a bit. For any further queries about the survey, I can be contacted via private messages or an email address on the survey website.
I've also posted a redirect at http://mypage.iusb.edu/~chaudhry to show credibility, that I am a university student. The page is located on a IU server and will redirect you to mine. This is done because of the software limitations imposed on student websites.
Thank you,

You do know these pages are aimed at UK users? As such, unless you intended an international comparison, peoples views on finances here will not necessarily translate to the US market.0

Yeah, at first I didn't realize this board was mainly made up of a UK grouping.
Irregardless, the questions asked are not biased against international opinion and would translate fine towards creating a marketing plan tailored to savings accounts.
I shouldn't be picky, right?
Cheers!0 -
Sounds genuine to me. You must be a student - who else would be messing around on their computer at 5am. And you must be American, nobody else would use a word like 'Irregardless'.

Good luck

LOL
And don't worry student, will do the survey. I must say though, that even if you say that you'd still want to solicit opinions from UK consumers, there'll be fundamentally different things that one would look for between a USD and a GBP savings account, given the not negligible interest rate differences. It's always the grass that suffers, irrespective of whether the elephants are fighting or making love !!!0 -
I really appreciate all your comments and would like to thank everyone who participated in this survey. These simple questions should give my group and I a better idea on how to develop our marketing strategy, and hopefully get recognized in the competition we plan on entering.
I would also like to thank the moderator for being polite and for allowing me to post this message. Thank you.0
