Pet insurance refusing to pay out... advice please?

Hi all, thanks so much for all the replies.

I have wrote a strongly worded letter to the insurance company and they are 'looking into it for me' The vet at the hospital has also written a very strong letter to them stating that their behaviour is iresponsible and also enclosed info about over vaccination in domestic animals and the complications it can cause.

So we will see what happens. I did manage to speak with a manager at the insurance company who said she was suprised that they have refused to pay out as in my vet files it clearly states we have discussed at various times the pros and cons of vaccination and the vet has even put in there 'nil vac - consulted owner' which basically means the vet and I have discussed it and have decided against it for various reasons.

Thanks for the update.

Having two policies with Sainsburys and also singing their praises in the past, I am hoping they realise the error of their ways and do the right thing!!
