Anyone heard of nikehome.net?

I hope I've posted this in the right section
My partner wants a particular type of nike trainer for his trainer collection (really ) and I thought I'd buy it for him for Christmas
However, can't find the trainer anywhere apart from this website. But the shoe itself seems to be cheaper on the website than I thought it would be so I'm wondering of the validity of the website.
Has anyone ever purchased anything from there before?
Thanks

I wouldn't advise purchasing online without making sure it is a secure payment:
http://www.verisign.co.uk/ssl/ssl-information-center/how-ssl-security-works/index.html
That gives a small insight into online payment security. (Note that the URL I posted is from a company point of view rather than consumer, but it's just the info on what to look for.) If it has the security lock then it has been certified for payments and the payments are secure and tracked, etc. I'd advise purchasing on a card which insures all purchases if you have one. I use my credit card for online purchases to insure everything.0 -

It's Chinese owned site. Poor site and poor Chingrish. Click on Contact Us and there's no link. When you google NikeHome there's links to sites that say they sell counterfeit goods. That said the site has been registered for 5 years. Do you feel lucky punk? The man without a signature.0

These are the guys that spam websites and forums everywhere with the offer to buy cheap trainers and ugg boots"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

Thanks everyone for confirming my suspicions. The website itself does look very poorly made
OH will have to live with the fact the trainers he wants are longer being made!0 -

Maybe look for Nike outlet stores such as the one in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth (beg them to post them if they have them), paying the postage, ook on eBay, being VERY cautious of course. Without being racist, avoid buying from China or Taiwan as they are more likely to be fake.0

Personally I think they aren't very nice at all but he bought the Blue pair whilst we were in America a few years ago and now wants the White and Green to complete the set.
I think they probably don't make them anymore. It's not that much of a big deal if I can't find them.. He has enough pairs to open up his own nike store :rotfl:0 -
Good for you for checking BEFORE buying.
Too many people on here buy stuff - mainly Uggs - in a hurry and regret it later.0 -
