Wireless headphones will they interfere if more than one set being used?

Hope someone can help.

Thinking of getting these for my 3 kids for Xmas to go with their new TV's so they can watch it with headphones on but don't have a wire trailiing around. Only going to get cheap ones as am sure they will get broken dropped etc. Does anyone know if they would interfere from room to room??

Only looking at these don't shoot me for them being so cheap :rotfl:

Thanks in advance.

It seems the transmitter only uses one frequency, so they would interfere with each other. You'd probably be better off at looking into bluetooth headphones if you need to use several together (but these are quite a bit more expensive)

I have a pair of infrared wireless earphones and since they work exactly like a tv remote and need line of sight then ones in different rooms dont interfere, but if the earphones all go into the same room they all work together so more than one can watch tv in silence.

edit just looked these are similar to what I have but they are expensive! I got mine for £5 about 8 years ago form somewhere like makro or tradex

Thanks am a novice at this as you can see :) Will take a look at the infared ones have seen some on ebay for £10. Many thanks again.
  • I got some sony ones from asda last week, about £40 and they have 2 channels -so I imagine 2 sets could work independently, Range up to 100metres, over 2 floors, so I can set 6music playing on my PC and wander around listening to it quite happily :D

Beware with infra-red headphones, as they can buzz if you have fluorescent lights, and possibly energy saving ones as well.
