Don't Dump That ...

Hi there everyone,

I thought it would be good to let you know about a relatively new community organisation - Don'tDumpThat - (https://www.dontdumpthat.com) dedicated to finding new homes for all those things you no longer want - and finding things you need that others are finsihed with - all for free - and helping the environment too.

With nearly 4000 members in 34 forums across the country from Glasgow to Gosport and Bristol to Boston - and 20+ new ones looking to start there may be one near you (and if there isn't then we are always looking for enthusiastic people to start new ones).

Don'tDumpThat offers forums for Offers and Wanted's arranged in categories of common items as well as discussion forums. Everything is free, no membership, no fees, no commissions, no catches.

You can find out if there is one near you by going to:
http://www.dontdumpthat.com/?p=find

I look forward to welcoming you as a new member to a forum near you ...
... and if there is anything you would like to ask drop me a line.

Ed Jones

This sounds very much like Freecycle which is already a very successful & well known network. This is where I get rid of most of my unwanted stuff.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I agree Freecycle is great. I've just signed up with https://www.dontdumpthat.com and notice this site is different in that there are no banner adds and Yahoo distractions.

Judging by the queue of people at my local council tip chucking out loads of stuff that could be reused I guess there is room in the market for a second site with a different, not necessarily better, approach.

Don'tDumpThat is all about helping preserve the environment by keeping perfectly useful items out of landfill sites; with new local forums opening all around the United Kingdom.

Members all around the world are clearing out their homes and garages and instead of throwing out the resulting pile of unwanted stuff, they're posting it onto their local Don'tDumpThat forum so that someone who does want it can come and take it away.

Check your local dontdumpthat forum out!!!!
Our dream has come true... :D
