Barclaycard online - am I being phished?

Options
Went to logon this morning. Usually my UserID is saved remembered from previous visits, and I just have to enter my passcode, and then letters from my memorable word.

This morning I got bounced to this screen:

http://picasaweb.google.com/LeeCarl1974/General#5537868525700878546

Seemed very odd to be asked for all these details, especially the CVV number, so alarm bells rang. Also the fact 'Expiration date' was state is being asked for in ddmmyy format, when on the card its only given as mm-yy

Cleared all history and cookies, etc, still the same. Called barclaycard internet banking helpline, there are investigating.

Has anyone seen this?

I wouldn't just question, I'd assume that there is and start removing it.

try avg or spybot as additional virus checkers to your own. Run it overnight especially AVG and hopefuly all will be okay.

Also try rapport many like however some dont. It will stop you putting details onto the wrong site!!

Well I tried everything to get rid of it and I couldn't.

So I backed up my files to disk and then did a destructive re-install of Vista and wiped the PC clean. Real pain in the **** but probably wouldn't feel comfortable using it again knowing that there 'might' still be something on there.

Barclaycard is now going to the real site, only asking me for username and passcode as expected.

Got to hand it to the scammers...they managed to get the style of the site down perfectly. Bit of a schoolboy error asking for the expiry date in ddmmyy format though.

    Bit of a hassle really

If it was a rootkit it would still be prevalent

Combofix would have fixed it for you
