Savings advice needed.

I'd be really grateful for some advice regarding an estate I am managing and how best to invest the money in a very low risk way.

My mother in law is the sole beneficiary and I expect there to be around £40k left in the estate after expenses.

I don't anticipate her needing this money but she is a bit of a technophobe and so would need to be able to access it relatively easily if she wanted to. However as I anticipate getting involved as well, it would be good if we had internet access so I could help her if necessary.

She does not pay tax and currently has a barclays current account.

Please let me know if you need any further information. All advice gratefully received.

Thanks

ZD
