Morning all, I have posted this elsewhere but wondered if any folks here had received their Winterfuel payment 2010 yet? It is getting mighty chilly and would love to buy some coal in  !!

anmarj gave you an explanation on your other thread - reposting will not make your arrive more quickly!
    Gone ... or have I?
  • I didn't for one minute think it would make it arrive any sooner and I did say that I had posted elsewhere. I have duly thanked the people who replied and taken note of what anmarg said. Forgive me for using the forums as a way of chatting to people about various things and getting different views from the people on different boards!!!

at least some things still make me smile!
  • winter fuel payments usually start arriving in about 2 weeks time and take about 2 weeks to send all of them out
  • Thanks Woodbine, will post when ours arrives so people get an ideal for themselves. Have I done something wrong? Hence pwales comment? I am afraid I am of the older generation and not too sure about computer things, I pat myself on the back that I can now manage to email and do some things like this forum, so I wouldn't know if I have committed a faux pas!! If I have apologies to all concerned!!

  • Oh, thank goodness pwales, I was worried I had done something wrong!!! Is it not good form to post the same question on different boards? So much to learn about computers and such but think maybe I will just stick to the simpler things!!!:)

the problem with posting twice is it could possibly "break" the internet this would result in getting a tea when you have pressed coffee on a vending machine right through to planes falling from the sky,
and whatever you do do not type google into google!
have fun and be carefull out there
    :D
