It was £125k originally and the drop to £119,500 was in early June.
May seem cheeky to go in at 99k, and I know there was no way they would accept - but it gives 20k to argue and barter with between that an the asking price. If i dive in at 110k then it gives 10k.....its all a game yeah....part of the fun eh?

remember if you do really want, it all the time you are playing the game, some one else can step in and get it, I would up your offer tomorrow if I were you.
At the end of the day, if your anything like me and dont actually like many houses, how would you feel if you lost out, while playing the game, if your not bothered then fine, if you are try and secure the property.Pawpurrs x

Gonna throw in a £104,999 offer on the weekend after weve been down again on Saturday with a couple of the lads [ones a spark to price the electric up and the other for some other work] Ill just say our limit is £115 and with the work...we cant go any higher that £109,000.....and we have placed an offer on a place in a different place and let them stew on that.
Its a risk to play the game - i know - but if it falls through then theres plenty more houses out there.

Personally I had a buyer that mentioned they'd put an offer on another house but would prefer ours and this put me off them. If they could pull out of that why wouldnt they pull out of ours? Luckily after no interest two buyers came along at once and I did not go for the buyer who had already offered on another. We are now lucking at a house for 136k and put in an offer of 124.995 due to stamp duty and work we would need to do on the property. This was turned down flatly. I can understand though if someone had come to me that low Id of laughed. We are now going to go in at 128,500 and are prepared to go to 130.
If you love the house just put in an offer you think its worth. Otherwise what about finding a house that doesnt need money spending on it? Wigans not far from me and theres a lot of property around that price range. My friend has a 2 bed terrace near centre and he swears the area is perfect, quiet and he'd never move. Yet he originally dreaded living so close to centre. His is worth around 110k.Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*
