Hi guys,
I'm after a bit of advice; tonight I have finally figured out how to retrieve voicemail messages from my landline (yes I am blonde) and there were 4 from a company called "Link".
The first message (left 16th Oct) asked me to call "Adam at Link", the 2nd (left 20th Oct) asked me to call "David from Link", the 3rd (left 23rd Oct) didn't leave a name or say where he was calling from but the telephone number was the same as the first message and the 4th (left tonight) asked me to call "Ian at Link".
It is only through Googling the telephone number the callers left that I found out "Link" is actually "Link Financial" and there are hundreds of horror stories on the net about them.
I can't for the life of me think why they want to speak to me so the advice I'm after is a) does anyone know what companies they debt collect for as this might jog a memory and b) shouldn't I be informed by letter if a debt has been transferred to an agency (in which case I can ignore the calls)?
Any help would be appreciated :-)

Hi Jeff Bridges hair!
Thanks for your reply
The only debt that I have is my credit card which I make monthly payments on above the minimum requirement and this goes straight to the creditor. I don't have any store cards, loans (other than the mortgage which is paid on time), etc. It's a bit of a mystery.
I would rather deal with stuff like this in writing and I'm dubious as to why they would be trying to contact me without having received anything through the post as to who thinks I owe them money....I even have a copy of my credit file and whilst it isn't brilliant there's no one on there that is still waiting for payment for anything. No trees were damaged in the posting of this message but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.:wave:0
