Seatwave - Problems reclaiming voucher

I was wondering as to whether this might be something anyone can assist me with or just confirm my worst fears that I have been fooled by a poor company. Regardless thank you in advance for reading this!

I signed up for Crowdity's free £25 voucher for Seatwave back in June and have been checking their website fairly regularly ever since in the hope of using it towards a gig or event I wanted to see. On Saturday I saw tickets for LCD Soundsystem this coming weekend and decided to use the voucher to buy the tickets as it would have come to £31.08 instead of the £56.08 after fees and I felt this was a good deal. I entered the code when I went through to checkout and the website registered the amount deducted from the order and I clicked to go through to pay the amount. I put my card details in and clicked the confirm payment button to go to the next screen. It then came up confirming my order, but listing £56.08 and not the £31.08 with the £25 voucher on the previous screen. I wondered if this was an error on the screen, but the email confirmation came through stating the same amount.

Immediately, I contacted the company via email immediately stating my problem. About lunchtime on Monday, I had received no email or phonecall from Seatwave, so I decide to chase up the query on the phone. I explained to a woman on the phone that I had put the code in online and it had noted the discount, but then had got rid of the discount after I had paid leaving the full amount. She asked for my number, which I had handy, and the code, which I had on email but not available to hand so she agreed to ring me back whilst I got it off the email. She rang me back, I gave her the code and she said she would look into it and get back to me. Late in the afternoon, I received an email from the woman:

Many thanks for contacting Seatwave.
We would like to inform you that the following code has not been used and it is still valid so you can use it for a future purchase.
Please be advised that the code is case sensitive and should be capital letters (Code here)

Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to assist you

Immediately I rang Seatwave back up, spoke to someone else over the phone, explained the recent communication and my ongoing problem that hadn't been addressed. She said she would email me so I could reply to the email with the code and so she could get in touch with the finance department regarding arranging a refund.

She emailed me back the following day:

Thank you for your email.

We cannot refund this amount as this code was not uploaded.

This code is still valid and you can use it to purchase other tickets in the site.

At this point, I am flummoxed by the lack of customer service. I do not feel valued or assisted and incredibly frustrated with this company. I have replied back asking for an explanation as to why I cannot have a refund and stated that I am very disappointed and upset with the lack of customer service in place and I find it highly unlikely that I will use their company again.

Apart from continue to kick up a fuss over this, I am wondering if there is anything else I can do?
