Capital one PPI reclaim

Hey, First post be gentle!

I have had a Capital one card since 2004 last year i had a change in job and couldnt keep up my payments. I sorted this out with my other creditors. I admit i miss three payments before i had courage to contact Capital one. However when i did i sent an Income and expenditure to Capital one as they requsted they wrote back asking me to clarify some details which i did however a month later i recieved a letter from Capquest. I borrowed the money from family to clear this debt with Capquest.

Due to this financial hardship i took around a £500 a month pay cut. Would it be possible to claim back PPI i did requst that they cancel the insurance in 2008 and was pressured into taking a low policy.

Any advice on PPI or anything about this situation would be very apprieacted.

And sorry to hear of your issues, your able to make a reclaim if you were mis sold the ppi, so with the reasons you have give it a go.

All you do is complete the reclaiming questionnaire, this replaced the template letter on this site and send to whoever set up the policy (to their head office), remember to keep all copies of all you send and receive, this is in case you need to refer to this at a later time.

They normally have 8 weeks to give a decision, please keep us posted, good luck.
