my computer is about 3.5 years old and works fine.
when we bought it, we just bought a cheap model and then have added more RAM over the years and it runs well.
my OH has just decided he wants to start playing games on it, nothing particularly high spec though.
we went to get a graphics card, but neither PCI nor AGP models will fit into the slot. the slot is about 2 inches too small to fit the card.
has anyone heard of this before? can anyone offer any help? i'm afraid i don't know the model of the pc other than it was a cheap emachines brand from PC World (i'm at work at the moment).

I would start by getting the make and model of the motherboard and then looking at the manufacturers site.
It'll be printed on there somewhere!0 -

HI,
you probably need a HALF height card.
If you have a AGP slot-- use a half height AGP card - - otherwise its a half height PCI card for you.
Ebay for it. AGP card: 230039944491, cant find a 1/2 height PCI card.
